This 1984 Lonestar Basketball Squad featured some of the greatest players in Liberia at the time, including David Chieh, Matthias Nimley, Melvin Hall, Abu Williams, Mitch Itoka, Caleb Dormah, Robert Walker and others. This team beat Nigeria on a game-winning dunk by Abu Williams that was heard around the world.
